How a wet clutch works

nscmj3

Let's be real... We might all ride bikes, but not all of us tear down engines and know how the inner components function. But, that's OK! It's why many of you are here, to learn about what makes your bike tick! Here's a short video that shows you what a clutch pack looks like and how it functions. The demo bike is a Honda CRF450R, but the clutch pack is similar enough to most bikes out there. If you have any comments, please post them below. Thanks for watching!

Anyone got any tips or tricks for optimizing dead engine starts on FI electric start bikes. Specifically 2018 crf250r if you have any experience with them. I would say the theories are transferable so if you've found any tricks that help on your bike id like to know......Different fuels? Tuning changes? Larger battery? Aux battery? Larger battery cables? Seems like they are pretty hit and miss with how quickly the fire on dead engine starts

Recently been looking at a 2007 crf150f parts bike to use to finish up my own to sell it and was wondering how much does a 2007 crf150f blown up motor go for? I don’t know if there is a market for blown up motors just checking if it’s worth something besides scrap metal

Just wondering if anyone who owns a honda cr250r, "mine is an 03 super clean". When cold starting I am having to use the choke, I am sure back in the day about 2004-2008 I had no issues starting from cold without choke how ever maybe I always used the choke and forgot.

But since refurb the bike with out choke when cold will not fire as soon as choke is on first time start.
I have recently changed the plug still no difference.

Is this normal or should this bike be starting from cold without choke?

I missed tracking where this little top hat came out of in my 2011 kx450f. Was thinking clutch or right side engine cover. Any help would be appreciated I can’t seem to find it in the manual.

      Hey guys,
I went to see this 625 SXC LC4 whis is sold in a good price but the condition is not that good. I recorded the engine sound so that possibly experienced owners can recognize any engine problems such as camshaft bearing failure etc.
      I appreciate any input...
