Husqvarna Motorcycles achieve record breaking sales and turnover in 2014

Bryan Bosch

January 29, 2015 - (Motor Sports Newswire) - 2014 has been a momentous year for the Husqvarna brand. Enjoying record figures in sales and turnover, a total number of 16,337 motorcycles were sold. Passing the magical 100 million Euro mark in turnover, this growth provided Husqvarna Motorcycles with production and sales figures never before achieved during the iconic brand’s 111 years of motorcycle production.

Husqvarna gained significant market share in the enduro competition segment as well as making an outstanding restart into the motocross segment, where close to 6,000 Husqvarna motocross bikes were sold worldwide. As such the brand has re-established its position as a key player within the offroad motorcycle segment. In 2015 Husqvarna will pursue its growth strategy.

Hey guys! Thinking about getting a husky TE 250 to start. Finally found a good offer for a 2010 TC husky turned to TE (was cross, now is road-legal). This guy wants 2000 dollars. No e-start. My question is: is the TC  a good bike for enduro? Is it good in the woods/trails? What about in General, is it a good bike? Would you buy it? Thanks!

Hello - I recently rebuilt the top end on my 2017 TC125.  When taking off the left and right power valve covers, the insides of each were extremely dirty with dirt, and moisture deposits.
The gaskets clearly did not do much to keep the crud out.  (The bike is new-ish - 20 hrs, and this is its first rebuild).
Anyone else have this issue?  I subsequently used gasket sealer on the gaskets, when putting back together.
Further....I noticed the radiator vent hose, leads to the inside of the right valve area.  In the attached photo, you can see the intake port sticking up above the valve area.  I was quite surprised by this design.  Clearly coolant overflow is entering the right valve area and contributing to gumming it up.  I also posted photos of the valve covers - you can see how dirty they are.
This is my first dirt bike in 20 years.  My last was a 95 KX125 and I remember the coolant vent hose just venting to the open air, tied off down below the frame somewhere.
      Thoughts?

Hi guys, I recently bought a second hand husky txc 250. I did a couple of bush rides on it and loved it. It gradually became harder to start, eventually I could only bump start it, it refused to start on the starter or kick regardless of the engine being hot or cold. And now it won't start at all. It will fire and rev a couple of revolutions and then die again if I try bump start it. Here is what I have checked so far :
      New iridium plug, sparking well.
      New fuel filter.
Fuel pump working and pumping fuel
Electrical connections cleaned with contact cleaner and connected well.
      Fuses are good.
      Temp sensor is good
      Efi throttle body is clean
Battery is charged up and strong.
      Exhaust is clear of obstructions
      Air filter new and clean.

Anybody got ideas? I guess I could pull the top off and check valve clearances? But I think this model is shimmed. Also the compression still feels great under the kicker.

      Thanks for reading
      Daniel
