2 or 4 stroke, if your muffler core is round, chances are Fisch Moto has you covered.

From the Horse's Mouth

“There really was no middle ground option on the market for spark arrestors. You could change your full exhaust for one with a sparky in it, or you could dismantle your existing setup and put in something cheap.  We just wanted to take our bikes out and ride and there was nothing available that made it quick and easy. We couldn't find a solution so we made one. Inexpensive, and quick to install. No need to set aside an afternoon to clean it out, you can do that in minutes before loading up.”

A screen style SA will get clogged frequently on a 2T due to the oil. A cyclone style SA is better in your application. Look at something like the FMF Turbine Core muffler. USFS approved and won't clog up.

Good Tip, thanks

Been doing some research on this, finding some good information, do you happen to have any insight on the difference between the FMF Turbine Core 2 and the FMF Turbine Core 2.1? Is there difference in the size or fit? Effects on bottom end? Thanks

2019 SX-F Muffler - Pro Circuit PC4000-0001 (with approval stamp) - Amazon $19.90 - tacked the approval stamp to the Endcap opening - Every thing fit ….No noticeable difference in performance - slightly mellower sound. Received blessing of local forestry ranger.

Would this fit a Bill's Pipes exhaust on a YZ250?

Hey,

We dont keep record of aftermarket exhausts, but as long as it is round, one should fit.

On our site, under downloads, click sparky fitment guide. At the bottom it will show you how to measure your tip to see which one fits.

Does this problem continue if you remove the sparky from the exhaust?

We did send out the spark arrestor to USFS for testing. They gave us approval but have not yet sent us the official document so that we can add the stamp to our products.
We hope to have the document within the month, I will post here when we do have that approval.

Hi Jon,

Checking back to see if you have an ETA on when the unit will be stamped/etched with the USFS approval?

Hey,
Unfortunately still waiting. They won't give us an eta aside from 'its not finished yet'. So at this point, not knowing how their system works, I don't even want to guess the wait time... Hopefully this month

Unfortunately still waiting. We haven't received any updates from them in weeks so any guess at an ETA at this point would be a shot in the dark

This is more or less what we expected, but our rep there said in the second week of Jan that it should be done by now and they were having issues, so we got our hopes up.

Would be too coincidental if a token of friendship gift showed up on his desk?😂😉

Hey everyone, been following the forum for awhile but first post here. I’m a Vet B rider, and new to RMEC and CORCS as I’ve been out here in Colorado for just over a year after bouncing around for a decade in the military.
I currently live in Castle Rock and am home shopping. A wooded property with some hills came up that I will make a move on if I can get one thing answered.. I will not buy a property if there’s going to be an issue with singletrack and maybe a small GP loop on the property that I could ride everyday of the week within reasonable (reduced noise complaint) hours.

This property is zoned RR, and I have a screenshot of the zoning regulations attached. It appears as if I could get away with it based on some of the verbiage listed for “allowable uses” but I want to be certain.

Figured before I hired an attorney to confirm, someone on here knows someone who might know if this zoning class would legally allow riding.

Appreciate any help. Searched and found little to nothing relevant in this forum or online. If I missed it, apologies.

Side Note. This was interesting. Basically a forum from “the other side” about the methods they use to shut down tracks/trails via noise levels, wetlands on property, etc...

So I have been riding quads for fun my whole life but until recently (past two years) I have been doing a lot more trail riding and hill climbing. I have always worn just jeans and boots/tennis shoes, a long sleeve and of course a helmet and goggles. Are riding boots, riding pants, and jerseys really necessary for what I am doing or could I stick to regular clothes and work boots? Thanks.

Quick 3 mile lap through some beautiful sections of the hills our here in sunny SoCal. Reche Canyon to be exact. 34.026257, -117.254637 to be more exact. 🤣
Hope y'all enjoy the scenery and the smooth action of this 2004 Husqvarna CR125.
This is just the warm up lap. Sadly, I broke my foot later in this ride, so I was never able to do a full speed lap through hitting my marks like I wanted to.

Hey guys just wanting to know if anyone has some information about my pit bike and what exhaust I would need to buy as I’m currently fixing it up and restoring it. I took the muffler off last night and it looks like it has an adapter from the muffler to the rest of the pipe and before I destroy it I’m wondering if I can remove the adapter so I can fit a new muffler on the existing exhaust tube. Thanks in advance, pictures of bike below.
