Just bought a used bike, noticed the oil was black, did a complete flush and change with filter, then rode about 3 hours worth, checked my oil sight glass and it was absolutely empty, even tried tipping the bike, and I couldn't see any in the window. I don't see any oil leaks, the exhaust is a little blue, but an entire quart in 3 hours? Any ideas what could be causing this or where the hell my oil is?
Anyone got any tips or tricks for optimizing dead engine starts on FI electric start bikes. Specifically 2018 crf250r if you have any experience with them. I would say the theories are transferable so if you've found any tricks that help on your bike id like to know......Different fuels? Tuning changes? Larger battery? Aux battery? Larger battery cables? Seems like they are pretty hit and miss with how quickly the fire on dead engine starts
