WR450F - mounting hour meter

Like many of you I have struggled with where to mount the hour meter on the WR. My bike is a 2006, this location may work on earlier models also. I mounted mine under the on/off switch using the existing switch mounting screws. This has allowed me to see the hours at a glance and also use the tach to adjust the idle speed.

I first made a paper template to locate the mounting holes and cutouts for the switch and meter. I then transfered the outline to some .040" thick sheetmetal, drilled the clearance holes for the switch mounting and smaller

diameter holes for the self tapping screws that came with the meter. I then formed a bend of approximately 80 deg (inside angle) and painted it black.

The attached pictures show the bracket and finished mounting location.

I’ve been searching for the last week or so for a nice used bike and have found a very nice 07 250 sxf.  My problem is that I have not found any kind of aftermarket stator to allow for lights, fan, or other electrical accessories I might add to make the bike more trail worthy.
Ive googled, searched this forum, and checked several online vendors to no avail.
Any info you guys have would be appreciated.

I will be going on a trip around US and will be towing my WR my the front wheel like in the pic below. I don't want to be eating up the knobby tires on the long freeway stretches. Is there any rear rim that can fit properly on the WR, that isn't a WR rear wheel as they are kind of pricey, so that I can switch it out for when I'm towing it? I don't need it to be able to fit the break or sprocket, just need it to be able to roll properly.

My top end went on m 98 cr 125, the needle bearing clip came out and broke apart and shrapnel got everywhere and blew it up. I cleaned out the top end and washed out the crank with the bike upside down. the bike starts up great and seems to run fine but im getting a weird di-di-di-di-di-di-di noise coming from the motor. i tried adjust the power valve and tightening everything but the noise is still there. Here is a link to a video where you can hear the sound. It gets louder as rpm's get higher and at really low rpm barely idling it goes away. I am pretty new to bikes and 2 strokes so any help would be appreciated.
