grey wire ??

I'm new to the site, & fourstrokes, always been two stroke. yz125 finally rode the wheel off. took big step up & always looking for improvements. what is this grey wire.?

Grey wire found ONLY on U.S. WR's.

Grey wire is input to ignition and cuts out spark or retards timing or something. Proved on a dyno (I think WR250 though) the results were nothing short of drastic.

>> REMOVE The grey wire.

Blue Wire is ignition input to lower rev limit/reduce spark in neutral. Guys have claimed removing it allows better spark for starting.
