foot pegs Better footing for the 690 Enduro R and 701 Enduro

A key part of the dualsportduo blog is to test parts & accessories for the KTM 690 Enduro R and 701 Enduro platforms and share our experience with you. For the last month or so, I've been riding on a new product from Fasst Company called Impact Adventure Foot Peg. Outside of being really nice over-sized foot pegs, the unique feature is that the foot bed is isolated from the foot peg body by an elastomer whos job is to squelch vibration and shock.

Here's a side-by-side shot with the stock KTM 690 Enduro R foot peg. I knew they were lasering in the TT logo, but my name came as a surprise. Is that like a monogrammed sweater? I'm going to take crap from my riding buddies forever!

Here's a shot of what the elastomers look like:

Those pegs look nice. With a 34" inseam I desperately needed lower foot pegs to avoid having to go too high with bar risers to get my standing height about right without going so high on the bars they'd feel odd while sitting.

After much research I went with Bosleys pegs with the 20mm lower option. It's pretty cool that he offers a variety of offsets. His pegs aren't fancy but they work great and are tough ad the price is awesome compared to others and you basically get a custom peg to your specs.

Just another option for folks, especially if they are looking to get a lower peg solution. The first picture is the stock peg compared to his ADV peg. Second picture shows the height of the stock peg, last pic shows the lowered Bosley peg as ordered.

Thanks for sharing! And, those pegs look quite nice IMHO. Nothing wrong with function over form. What's the price point?
