Don't Ride Naked

Want one of these cool jerseys? We need your help picking out the best film poster.

My last post highlighted a moto documentary film that will be coming out soon. Its called Never Ride Alone. Make sure to follow the official Facebook movie page at Never Ride Alone Film https://www.facebook.com/neverridealonemovie/ to stay up to speed on the release dates and film festival showings.#neverridealonefilm

As I am in the final stages of putting the finishing touches on the film project. I find myself in a spot where I need some help. So, I thought I would find some good old Thumpertalk advice. Instead of asking for opinions on which is the best oil, guaranteed to bring a thousand opinions,  I thought I would ask opinions on movie poster options. What better way to prod you for a response than to make it a contest.

Here goes. I have an official MotoMission Peru jersey to give away to one of the TT members that cast their vote for the movie poster. All of the votes will be taken into account, a list will be made of each person that provides a vote, and one of the names will be randomly drawn. The winner gets a sweet jersey out of the deal, just like the one in the picture above.

Option 1, 2 or 3...Pick your favorite and message me for a chance to win an official MotoMission jersey

The Official Never Ride Alone Film Trailer

I am not sure if you caught my last post, but I shared the official movie trailer with the TT community. Here it is again in case you missed it. It should get you excited for the film. The film is about exploring the Andes mountains of Peru on a dirtbike, and its filmed, directed, and produced by a dirtbiker.  I will let the trailer do the rest of the teasing.

As for the film, many have asked about release dates. The film should be finished during the summer of 2018. It will be released in the film festival scene first. From there, it can take a few different paths, but it will be available for purchase after the film festival circuit is complete. Again, make sure to follow the official Facebook movie page at Never Ride Alone Film to stay tuned to festival schedule and showings near you.

I am looking forward to tallying up your votes. Also, stay on the lookout for a sweet movie coming soon.

Until the next one,

Scottiedawg

I like the 2nd one. Gives a feeling of serenity, just enjoying the ride. The others also seem to whitewashed, not really portraying the feeling as much.

I like #1 the best, and then #2 in order.  However, I am wondering why no mountains in the photo?  The Andes Mountains are the star attraction aren't they?

I vote #2 -  I like the middle poster... it has better clarity and focus throughout the photo. To me the colors are stronger and not washed out ... it looks more like a professional movie poster than the others.

#1 one hundred percent, looking clean, and sick while popping that wheelie. #3 is the same version, but it is filtered weirdly. Then, #2 is just straight up a picture of some one riding,  :lame:. So yea, #1 is the way to go. Also, just watched the trailer, movie is looking dope, now where's my jersey

I like number two. It just fits. The other two with the wheelie just looks wrong based on the movie trailer. The film looks like it's extreme from the standpoint of being alone in the middle of nowhere and dealing with the dangers of riding alone. Not "EXTREME" from the standpoint of the typical association of dirt bike stunt and the like. Might even look good in black and white to suggest the fine line of life/death when on a trip like this. No middle ground, you survive or you die alone.

I like the solemness of you and the bike from #2 in the dramatic scenery from #1. Threw together a quick and dirty mockup and attached it here. Just my opinion though, trailer looks awesome, looking forward to seeing the whole thing!

I concur, and vote number two as well.

Number 2. 3 is too bright around the bike, number 1 looks like someone dropped the clutch too hard on takeoff and is about to fall over.

#1 for me. Love the warmth in the picture and a silhouetted wheelie pop just reminds me of a lone ranger on his horse.

I vote for #2 also, much better to have a clear picture for your cover photo. Can't wait for the movie to be done, looks great so far! Let me know if you want a riding partner sometime, I'd love to travel there and ride with you, that place looks beautiful.  Take care,

Actually Scott, if it's not too late...and you want to emphasize your Title, you need to use one of the photos in your trailer, where you are looking out over the edge...

I was wondering the same thing with all the rad shots why such a plain foreground? I personally like the clarity of number 2 but as Daniel Springham mentioned the Lone Ranger wheelie is legit! Hope to see the movie when it comes out keep living the dream.
