MX Jumping Fundamentals w/ Garrahan Off-Road Training

Garrahan Off-Road Training

In this training video, I talk about and demonstrate the fundamental riding skills & techniques necessary to effectively and safely tackle the jumps you'll encounter on the MX track. It's geared toward developing riders, so if you're scrubbing the 120' step-up triple at your local track, this video isn't for you. 🤜🤛

not much useful info in the vid...

What's your current skill level? This feedback will help us in both how these videos are presented and what info is included. We tried to make it clear that the video is for developing riders, so if you're a more accomplished racer, this video isn't really targeted towards riders like yourself. That's why I asked what your skill level is. I hope you don't mind letting me know.

it wasnt  bad vid! was just expecting more than stand and adjust throttle. no mention of accelerating up the face, how to control the bike in the air (rear swings to side?), tapping rear brake the brake to drop front, what happens if you pull the clutch in the air, precompressing suspension, just too much left out is all. footage and editing was great though

While I’m no beginner, I thought the video was great for someone who is just learning. It was stated to stay tuned...pretty sure mid air maneuverability will be a topic at some point. As an instructor, you have to give a little information for the beginner to digest and practice. If you give some people (not all) too much information, they get mixed up and rag doll. You have to crawl before you can walk and walk before you run.
