Robb, there still seems to be a belief that eggs are something you need to be careful with if you are having to watch your cholesterol intake. For riders in this area, what's the word?

**Note: I have received text messages and direct emails about cholesterol and eggs.  Here is my feedback regarding these concerns:

It has been my experience that most people have high cholesterol because they consume too much simple sugars and white starches.  Ironically, if the body consumes too much cholesterol it makes less of it; if it doesn't consume enough, the body produces more.  

My suggestion for you (as I do with all my clients) is for you to get a full blood panel drawn and then keep a meticulous food log and exercise log for 12 weeks. At the end of the 12 weeks, have your blood drawn and re-evaluated. By analyzing your food intake/exercise logs, you can see if your cholesterol numbers went up or down and adjust accordingly.

If your doctor has you on cholesterol reducing medicine, stay on it.  All I am saying is that you focus on reducing simple sugars and white starches and THEN evaluate your cholesterol levels.  Please keep me posted!

 I'm not on cholesterol medication. But I do know others that are so I thought it was a good question. Thanks for your Insight!

Unfortunately, with today's modern 'diet', eggs should be the least of someones worries... Next we'll be asking how many calories in vegetables... Lol

I love eggs. My whole family does... We'll eat between 4-7 every morning, usually scrambled in a bit of virgin olive oil...
