After about 3 months of work + a good deal of money my 06 WR450 is ready for the streets... ?

Did all the stuff myself in the comfort of my getto living room..

From the start I wanted to make it different & give it an R1 vibe as much as possible..

all i can say is WOW

But that front caliper mount looks a bit sketchy. And it might handle a bit better it the bars were up and not laid down.

why the low bars?

What looks sketchy about the caliper ??? Its the proper mount / soild as a rock..

As far as the bars go - Things need adjusted for sure but I just wanted to ride it after 3 months ya know..

Low bars - Didnt really know what to get - just thats what I saw on some others..

I think he means having the bars twisted more upward instead of down in your lap. I did this on my KX and it was 10 times easier to ride. Just adjust forward or back until you like the way it feels.

Are those R1 rims? If so what did you have to do to get a fat rim like that in the back?

That is one bad boy I'd like to have in my garage, top work, would like to see all the plastics in black though with a nice set of custom silver and blue graphics......... ?

could you give us the details on the wheels and tire? did you have to modify them to work? What type are they? I have a WR set up for dual sport but would be interested in a setup like that too.
