Most miles on DRZ

I've got 15,300 miles on my 400S. How high has anybody gone with one of these?

I think the guy with 99 999km wins hands down. He actually had over 100 000km on his but his odo would not go over 99 999km.

I've got 837 on my SM!! Ha Ha

spud has me beat by about 5,000 miles. I have 30,000 on my 03.

30,000 sounds good, what have you had to do to keep it going that long? Anything Major? I hope mine goes that far.

Stator went out recently, some have gone much sooner.

CS nut spun itself loose and puked oil from the seal @ about 10,000.

Keep an eye on it and use the loctite fix recommended here.

Try a search for CS nut, or something similar.

Other then that no issues, still pulling strong. I change the oil, a lot.

You are already @ 15,000, must be doing something right.

I'm at about 11K now, purchased my '04 last August.

2K in 2 months. I ride everyday to work, which makes waking up that much easier.

Just turned 16k miles on my 04S, I change the oil at least once every 1k miles.

5400 and change the oil either between 500-1000 miles depending on how much dirt riding I do.?

41000kms and counting, but this is my third DRZ. First 4500kms, Second 14000kms??+-

27,000 miles on my first DRZ, an '03. Then the stator went, pulling the RR with it. A bad repair was done, which ended up giving me a great deal on a new one.

So, I picked up an '06 last July, which now has 22,000 miles on it. And the stator has failed again, but this time I was watching for it, so I caught the trouble early. The new stator should be in this week -- warranty, dontcha know! -- and I'll do the work myself. If they insist at the dealer to do the work, I will take it apart after and check over everything.

Most of my miles are travel miles, and I change the oil about every 2000 miles. When I'm on the road, I change the filter every other oil change. At home, usually every oil change.

35,000km nearly 3 years ago when i took the stock dash off to fit a trailtech, Its got to be around 60 by now! Looks better not knowing , something less to worry about. :applause:

The bolts holding down my starter clutch backed out and knocked out the the stator. Could be that someone at factory Japan is not using any locking agent on these bolts.

22000 on my '00 S, all dirt riding. had only a problem with a gershift bushing failure.

7k Miles in about 10 months.

Probably alot more on the motor, but i spend alot of time with the front wheele aloft!? :applause:
