Powerbomb on 2006 450

Well it was a big surprise for me that it comes with a large powerbomb header

In the second pic look how long that silencer is.

The dealer said 5 bikes are at present in Europe, this bike was flown from Italy for dispaly and I specifically asked about the canister and they assured it is all stock. Last minute changes? They said it smoothens and broadens the powerband.

The australia report in todays threads also shows a power bomb header on the 450F.

....if thats the stock muffler, whatever happened to "mass centralization"? Looks like a lot of weight hanging out back there! Does the powerbomb header chamber make the bike loud enough to warrant that thing?!

That exhaust will be the first thing to come off of mine. If that muffler was any farther back there, you would need to tie a red rag to it!!!!

The bikes you guys saw were europe only models. They dont have a powerbomb on them for performance, it is for noise. Same with the long muffler-they have to be 98db over there. Also the euro bikes come stock with pirellis. The US models will have a straight header as well as a shorter muffler.

Im doing suspension (pro-action revalve/spring (maybe DLC for some bling bling)) first - probably within 2 weeks of purchase and some other stuff first too.
