just wondering where you're at with the fcr-mx install , have you received all the correct parts ? don't forget the pics

i think i'm doing it today.my garage isn't heated so i need to do it in the daytime and i've had to do overtime all week.i won't forget about the pics either

I'm interested how it goes as well as I just purchased an FCR on ebay. Hopefully it will arrive in a week or so. I might do the flow commander mod at the same time.

well its in but it still needs fine tuning but HOLY CRAP i left the line and then dumped it at WOT and all i got was wheel spin ? and i had to stay over the bars as i went through the gears .i have pics and i will post them here either tonight or tomorrow

btw-if you have ever riden a yzf 400 its damn close to that now

[/img] the cable mount got in the way of the frame so i had to remove it and then put it on once the carb twisted over to the other side of the frame then once that was done the throttle wheel hit the frame[/img] the hot start button hit the E petcock.so i got out the dremal[/img] i had to do this so the throttle cables had a straight route to the cable mount

nice.those have way more throttle cable clearance than a crf carb.good pics.

nice pics , this mod is definately on my "to do" list , but it will have to wait until i get my wheels re-laced over the winter

what does the rubber bumper on the motor mount do? Why do you need washers to use it with both mounts on the left side?

its another tank cushion.its a DOT thing.it doesnt actually do anything.just ditch it.

so its ok to put torque the nut right up against the cylinder head without a washer there instead of the right-side mount?

yes,its fine.

10-4, just was worried about galling the soft head material with the nut in the absence of the spacer on that side. I noticed that in the pics his hand hides the nut that is against the cylinder head.

its a flange head nut.
