'05 WR 18"rear wheel fit on a '05 YZ250 2 stroke

I was just wondering if a WR250-450 18" rear wheel assembly would fit on my YZ250? I want to convert my 19" to a 18" so I can run a trials tire on the rear. Will YZ sprockets still fit on the WR hub, and what about the rear brake rotor, will it still work with the YZ caliper? If it don't work I will just have to drop the big bucks to get a 18" wheel laced up and trued. Just trying to save a few bucks.

I just put a 06 WR 450 rear on a 00 yz 250 this morning.

Cool, How much did the completed WR wheel assembly cost versus getting an 18" rim laced up and trued? Was it an Excel rim also?

WR 450 is now a street motard

YZ 250 Project got the WR 18 inch.

Stock 250 19 inch on floor, trust me I will think of something.

Now if you want to know the cost of the Motard set-up which

made this a reality. Don't ask, you can buy a used YZ for the same price!

everything will bolt right up because the hub and everything is the same part on the yz and the wr.

06/07 front WR hubs will not. The new speedometer caused a change.
