Time for a new clutch

Recommended Posts

Going to replace the clutch in my wifes 2009 crf big wheel.

Was looking to see what I need and was thinking I may need a right crankcase cover gasket and the other clutch plates and the 4 springs.

Will I need any water pump seals or gaskets ?

I have replaced a few in my time just never on the 150r

Thanks Ron.

No need for anything waterpump related. In fact you can do it without even draining the coolant by just holding the cover back out of the way with something. Ive used a 6 inch bungee cord in the past, but an extra hand, or some string would work too.

Oh and save yourself some greif and replace fibers with oem ones.

Yes replace the case gasket. Stck plates and fibers have always worked great even on our heavily modded supermini only using Hinson springs.
