Fork legs height on a KTM 200 xc-w ´09

I took my ´09 200 xc-w to the shop to have the fork seals changed.

When i received the bike i noticed that they had set the fork legs flush with the top of the triple clamps.

It kind of made the handling a little bit better, taking a little of the bike nervousness off.

But messed up the handlebar feeling, that i had finally set it perfectly for me.

Anyways i looked in my owner´s manual but there is no reference as how high to set the fork legs.

What is the sugested height?

Im not sure if there is a suggested height but Ive ran mine flush with the top clamp for 4 years now with no issues.

Just raise your forks 1 ring at a time till you find what works best for you.

FWIW, my 2013 EXC came with the forks 1 ring down from flush off the shop floor.

The correct height is the one that works for you. in general, running the forks flush will give you a smidgen more stability at speed. sort of similar to running more sag in the rear shock.

I wanted a reference to know where to start, just like with susp clickers.
