How works such rear suspension on the road? :D

hi lysy,

if ive interpreted your question correctly, your asking how good the rear shocks work , correct ?

well the answere to that question is pretty good actually,

the shocks are made by hagon in the uk,i gave them a call telling them what i wanted , they needed all sorts of details,

length of swinging arm, distance from shock mount to swinging arm pivot, the angle they would be mounted at ,weight of bike etc,

and they worked out the spring rates, built the shocks and they arrived on my doorstep 2 days later,

if you've ever been on a nx650 you will know the stock suspension is very mushy , soft, bouncy really not too good,

the twin shocks give a much more controlled, firmer ride,

i have lost some wheel travel have now got about 6 1/2 " , think a stock nx650 has about 8 1/2" but its plenty for the road and odd gravel track

but to be honest i didnt convert to twin shocks to improve the ride quality,it was all about how it looks

heres a couple more pictures for you ?

Yes; 'How this rear suspension wokrs?' sorry ?

But seat is not very comfortable I think so...

Tank come from that bike?

Hehe you can call this DirtCafe :ride:

no need to appologise my friend,i dont know a word of polish so your doing ok,

the seat if fine, thanks for your concern about my comfort :D ,its a couple of inches wider than the original seat so helps spread the load ?

the tank is of a honda cg125,like this one

i did have to move the tap forward a couple of inches as it sat right on the frame, and make new mounts

this was the original bike,

so you can see quite a change,

you can call it dirtcafe if you want , i'm calling it a scrambler :D

So how long it took to built this bike??

thats a difficult one to answere because before i built the scrambler i had already built the bike as a flattrack style,so a lot of bits had already been altered,

after riding the tracker for a while decided to change again to a scrambler,i reckon if i started with the stock bike i could do another scrambler in 2 months , working in my spare time, heres a pic of the tracker you can see some parts made it onto the scrambler

headlight is like this one http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c2b23cc8d 5 3/4 " bates style ,from ebay uk but im sure you must have something similar over there, i painted mine black and made up the brackets,

the clocks are similar to these http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c11f6da9a but my rev counter goes to 8k,the rev counter did cause some problems as its triggered by every spark but with the wasted spark type ignition on these bikes it would read double the actual revs,so had to fit a device that halves the spark reading to give actual revs,

looks like you've made a good start there ? ,look forward to seeing how it progresses
