Well our season is done and dusted finished 2nd in all 3 series including Enduro, Sprints and natural terrain m/x beaten by a mate I've been racing for 30 plus years and we still have seconds in it. Its going to heat up here now and get very dusty so just training and short hard rides to stay in condition.  Bit much traction coming out of a rut and to much go go juice on the 350 missed the stump though this was a very rough stump infested test at the end of two days.

Nice Saturday morning ride. Not much time left for mountain single track

I see you have a Zac Speed, I'm considering the Recon model hoping that it will have enough room so I can get my butt bag off my lower back. Which model do you have and how much do you carry? Thanks in advance for any insight.

I have the middle size one. I think that’s the recon right?

i keep all my tools in the two side pockets. Tire spoons, wire, tape, small knipex cobra pliers. Small vise grips. Tire repair kit. Epoxy. And various other odds and ends.

Leaves room so all the other pockets are for various personal items.

Only downside to the setup is my atlas neck brace has to be put on after the backpack and removed beforehand. So it’s slow going if I need to get into the bag to get my phone for a photo.

Im debating buying the vest front so I can have some easy access front pockets.

Does Zac Speed still include the tool roll with the Recon? I think they used to include it but I don't find mention of it when looking to order it. I'm used to taking my Leatt off with my chest protectors so I probably would not be affected by that, Zac does make a smaller tool/accessory bag that attaches to the lower front - I'm not sure I could get used to that.

They didn’t include the tool roll with mine. Fine by me. I didn’t want to wear a tool roll.

A tool roll is just a piece that you place tools in and roll up to place in a pocket or a butt bag, it just gives you a way to secure tools which may be loose in your backpack of bag.

Oh okay. When I saw the video on rmatv it looked like it was supposed to buckle into the belt of the backpack setup or something. Or maybe I was making shiz up.

I modded my chest protector tonight.

Used the dremil to make some slots and attach a maxpedition molle pouch so that I can have a place to put my cell phone, keys, maybe a quick snack, and my pistol if I’m going to be anywhere anywhere I feel the need for that. (I usually don’t)

I love this molle pouch. I own a few. They’re very slim when empty and practically disappear but if you feel like it you can load the hell out of them. Super versatile and the quality is truly combat ready.

The Beta RR300 Race and RR430 Race from this last weekend.

Nice!  I think I can see you from here, LOL!  (For those following along the location for this awesome video is under the red arrow in my photo below, taken last spring.)

Seriously though, great shot and great perspective.  That's such a scenic area, especially in spring when it's green and the wildflowers are going off like fireworks.  The drone thing is way cool.  I'm going to have to step up my ride videos game.

You nailed it! You and I seem to be the only ones rocking the Betas at this place. [emoji6]
