Action needed to stop ban of lead ammo in CA

Recommended Posts

I just called the office of Assemblyman Steve Fox to oppose this, I recommend anybody who wants to preserve their rights to shoot with lead ammo to do the same, There is no substitute, Steel ammo will kill your fire arm. I spoke to one of his staffers in Palmdale, and the opposition was noted (661) 267-7636

There is one party rule in CA. The biggest problem with CA is that the people have messed it up so bad they are leaving and contaminating the rest of the country with their liberalism.

Sorry, don't mean to be rude....but what do you expect ??? QUIT VOTING FOR LIBERALS!!!!

When you guys and your neighboring states flushed the excrement and ridded yourselves of the insane group of liberals in your part of the world, guess where they all went. Yup. You can thank CA for keeping your state relatively liberal free. Consider us conservative CAlifornians as taking one for the team. And yeah, you're welcome. But don't shit on us. We did good by you. We DON'T vote for liberals here. Those liberal voters are all your expatriates from your part of the world that flooded into CA and now outnumber us original conservative CAlifornians.....

The bigger issue than the obvious firearm maintenance that needs to be maintained for "metal jacketed" ammo, is the learning curve to actually shooting those bullets. You have to be a way more accurate shootist. It's been quite a few years since being into the "gun craze" when I was younger. I remember the velocity of metal loads being quite a bit faster. Not to mention, in order to make a kill, the target area has to be spot on.

Lead OTOH, for lack of a better word, is the "sloppy shooters" ammo. You need only get close to the target for the kill.

I think there is a bigger issue here than lead poisening. I think it's just some politicians excuse to get the lead off the street.

EXACTLY!!! This used to be the greatest concervative state there was, the flood of liberalism came from other parts of the states as well as the world.

And as far as hunting .... The only gun I use for hunting is a shot gun and already have to use steel shot for duck and geese. The thought of someone hunting with a rifle or a hand gun shooting enough rounds at their target to cause a problem with lead contamination is laughable. Oh and the last time I did take a hog with a rifle was at 300+ yards using my 308 Reminton 700 and the bullet is still in the ground somewhere out there, as it was a pass through double lung/heart shot. I use most of my guns for practice and put enough through them that I don't need the extra wear and tear that the steel rounds will do.

Guess all the ammo the government and armed services doesn't count, cause they have enough banked already. From what I gather the government ie. FBI, Homeland Security et al, purchased enough to shoot every US citizen (man, woman and child) 5-6 times, probably more and that's after they had practiced every day Mon-Fri for a year. I don't suppose that ammo, actually I know that ammo isn't steel. We don't need these fools telling us we're contaminating the environment, when they are doing it at a rate we couldn't even comprehend.

The lead for bullets already came out of the ground, right? I mean, it wasn't made in a lab by some evil scientist, correct? So all shooters are really doing is "re-distributing" and evening out lead deposits. What genius politician figured out that bullets would contaminate the ground. Brilliant......

The real OBVIOUS issue without a doubt (surprised nobody has mentioned it) is this is the first step in eliminating the availability of ammo to civilians. Starts with the lead, then the brass, then the gunpowder then we got nothin. Thats how it always works, this is just the gov getting their foot into the door to start the ban the ammo campaign.

Believe me when I say, we that spend any time with guns know that's what their ultimate goal is. That is why we fight so hard to keep from losing any of what we have. Fawkstien, Boxershiat and the rest of those socialists want a disarmed and compliant citizenry.....hey Diane and Barbara, you can kiss my A$$!!!!

Yeah, its nice when you live in a gated community with armed guards, the other 99.9999% of us dont, they just dont get it. Damn sheltered out of touch people get to make the rules for people that live in the REAL world....ugh, got stop now, I feel a rant coming on, lol.

So many people are so blind to the things happening today, actually I meant sheeple, my mistake.

Obama grew up in a mixed race socialist society called Hawaii... the culture there is as different from the rest of the US as any country on earth. In his 20s he moved to one the most corrupt & racist cities in the country... a city where black on white relations are the worst there is... and there he developed into a Chicago black man with all the socialist ideals from his youth. One man could not have been developed more off base. It's really not even his fault.

And we chose him for president. I guess we deserve what follows.
