I am sure I am trampling all over forum etiquette but I have never done this before. See what happens when you give a cyber-hillbilly access to a computer. Anyhow, I bought a 1996 Suzuki DR650. The front wheel is seized. I took the front wheel apart; axial out wheel down on ground, caliper retaining bolts out, brake pad retaining pin out, tapped on it, beat on it and I still can’t get the caliper off the rotor. Anyone have any idea what is going on and how to solve this?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Unscrew the bleeder and try to lever the pads apart with a flat blade screwdriver. Once you get the caliper off the rotor, tighten the bleed screw , remove the pads and apply/release the brake lever to pump the pistons out. It will definitely need new seals, and maybe new pistons
