Leaky Carb

I have a 2002 YZ 125. The overflow lines all the time as soon as I turn the gas. I have adjusted the the floats twice now but it keeps leaking. Any ideas on what it is?

needle seat and needle valve need replaced, or the oring aroundthe needle seat.

Everything is said i think....theeblaz is right

I just had the same problem on my 2000 yz125. Ordered a needle valve from RMATV for 15 bucks. Easy to install and it stopped the leak.

Get a Q-tip, spray some carb cleaner on it, stick it up where the rubber cone tip goes in the carb, twist it around and clean that out, then clean the tip itself, that should fix it, if not, then replace.

This recent E10 fuel leaves behind a yellowish corrosive fungus if left in your fuel system for a long period of time. It's possible the Ethanol has corroded the carb inlet seat. You can try cleaning the tip o the needle like others commented but it's a better idea to just replace the needle and seat, and forget about the issue and ride happy !
