Custom Tail Light Option?

I know most people on here probably have the Edge tail light, but for something a little different, I thought I'd try one of the tail lights from motodynamic.com, like maybe this one:

Before I buy one of these and make a custom bracket for it... I was wondering if anyone knew any reason why this wouldn't work? It seems doable, I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

I used the same set up to make a taillight for my bike. I had to make my own bracket though. I will try to post pictures later

so i think the only limiting factor is how wide the tail light is versus the width of the rear fender.

so i need a light that is not more than 5 1/2 or 6 inches wide.

As noted I'm partial to the CBR. Later models have a built in running light.
