whats wider?

im confused which tire is wider a 110,90,19 or a 110,80,19???

Both tires are the same width. The first number is the width. Second is the height of the side wall. The third is the rim size. Hope this helps bud

Height as a percentage of width

Examples:

100/100-19 is 100mm wide and sidewall is 100mm tall

110/100-19 is 110mm wide and sidewall is 110mm tall

120/80-19 is 120mm wide and sidewall is 96mm tall

Ding, ding, ding we have a winner!

so the tires i posted are the same width but the second one is taller?am i understanding this right?

Second one is shorter.

100/100 would be 100mm wide and 100mm tall (100mm x 1.0 = 100mm)

100/90 would be 100mm wide and 90mm tall (100mm x 0.9 = 90mm)

100/80 would be 100mm wide and 80mm tall (100mm x 0.8 = 80mm)

110/90 would be 110mm wide and 99mm tall (110mm x 0.9 = 99mm)

110/80 would be 110mm wide and 88mm tall (110mm x 0.8 = 88mm)
