exhaust Connectors

Recommended Posts

Wondering if anyone has an idea of what to use as a connector, since the price for the stock rubber piece that connects the ttwo exhaust pieces is like 60 bucks.. im sure people use things like exhaust tape and what not.. but is that messy? whats an easy fix, i know im leaking a ton of exhaust in the crease and want it all coming out the same place.. thanks

What bike? $60 seems a bit high. I can get an OEM for my bike for like $12. I have heard of people using radiator hose and hose clamps. Also gets a better seal that way. Although, this has always been on 2 stroke applications.

its an rm 125, and i tested it gets kinda hot where that exhaust is spitting out, i dont wanto melt hose all over the place

I've considered getting this since it looks a little better than radiator hose. But I've run a piece of hose and a couple clamps for a few years with no issues. I also could not believe how much the oem one was so just made my own.

After going through a couple of stock ones I got the TM connector. No issues at all, works as it should, and doesn't leak.
