How to get stickers to stay on

Recommended Posts

So I have a brand new set of decals on my bike. But I also have other stickers that I want to put on top of the large decals.

I use a pressure washer to wash my bike. I do try to not pressure wash the edges of the stickers but they blow off. I have used rubbing alcohol to clean the area before I put the stickers on..

I was thinking of getting rattle can clear coat..

Do the same thing I have been doing then completely cover the side number plate etc. With the rattle can clear coat.

What do you all think ?

It will look like a mess very quickly as it chips and flakes off.

You could get a clear overlay, Factory Effex and others sell square sheets of clear "background" that's made to go over and protect underlying stickers. Would be FAR more durable than rattle can.
