Arrowhead, Big Bear, Silverwood: Jun 8-9 '13

California

Gonna run ALL the trails up there !

Camping Fri & Sat nights at Pinnacles Staging on the upper deck.

http://ridersonline....d_pinnacles.htm

Pinnacles staging is situated just North of Lake Arrowhead and leads into the heart of the trail system.

Loops will be about 50+ miles and include:

  1. Devil's Hole
  2. Deep Creek
  3. Dishpan
  4. John Bull
  5. White Mountain
  6. Redonda Ridge - East & West (some still call it Malcom Smith trail)
  7. Big Pine Flats
  8. Cactus Flats
  9. Fawnskin for lunch Saturday (need a plate for this)
  10. and more !

Really wanna keep this to 6 riders per group. We could use one or two more guides besides myself.

There are bypasses for Redonda Ridge and White Mountain if you are plated.

  • Red sticker season is closed right now.
  • Spark Arrestors absolutely required.
  • Propane Stoves OK - NO Charcoal.
  • No campfires.

Please RSVP if coming ! (Anyone can RSVP... creating a login is optional & not required to RSVP)

Gonna plan on this one.

Gonna pencil this one in, I wanna go up there bad as does my wife, we need some cooler summer playgrounds..count me in as a 75% maybe.

SO can I bring a 27' Motorhome up there?

Sure assuming you have the brakes to get down the mountain.

Oh yeah I can stop it, but I think the RV is staying home, just gonna try and camp I think due to fuel costs....

Let me ride it, I barely give it any throttle, like I did on your 300, I dont even think I got out of 3rd gear...

I'll let you guys ride it. Just have no time to put it together for a few weeks.

Bring the pieces, I will assemble the puzzle.

No way... thats half the fun.

Me, my wife, the dog, the jeep, plated 450X and the drooling green sticker smoker are going up Thursday evening. Is that where you camp/park in the wide open flat area I see with a block vault bathroom? Anybody going to be there then?

I can get non-resident registration and that makes my bikes totally legal due to my residence in Havasu Yay!, Soon to have plates on all m bikes, gonna be pretty cool on the YZ, when I had my old CR500 Supermoto people would trip out, especially cops..

Hmm, Darrell and Kyle have red sticker bikes...if they even have stickers at all.

Yeah I have my red sticker placed on my fork. I'm just probably planning to just do the Kennedy Meadows ride. I know it's a long ways away but really look forward to it.
