1976 rm250

Recommended Posts

So I'm helping my grandpa clean up his backyard and I see something leaning against the wall under a tarp

I pull off the tarp and see an old suzuki rm!!

It had no gas tank, no rear fender, no seat, no top end, no exhaust and no handlebars. We pulled it out and after some searching we found all the parts on a shelf in the garage. He said I could take it and get it running if I wanted, after 2 days at my house I had it completely taken apart and had started cleaning and figuring out what else I needed, it's still in the works but I'm hoping to have it done by the end of the summer!

Anyone with a similar bike or story? Any advice?ImageUploadedByThumper Talk1373235658.452724.jpgImageUploadedByThumper Talk1373235684.013972.jpg35684.013972.jpg]

Despite missing parts, it looks pretty good for a 76 bike!

I have everything for it just nothing on it haha!

Looks pretty good 👍

What's that carburetor in the first photo ? It doesn't look like a Mikuni VM ? Lectron ?
