2 stroke street bike

Recommended Posts

Quite a few. Not many were available in the states though. Yamaha RD, Kawasaki H1 and H2, Yamaha RZ350 and RZ500, Suzuki GT750 and Titan 500 were available in the States and I'm sure more that I am forgetting. Suzuki RG500, Honda NSR500 along with bikes from 50cc-250cc are available in other countries. My brother had an RZ350 and some buddies had some 2 strokes also. An RD400 Daytona Special, Suzuki RG500 and Yamaha RZ500. They were bad ass in the day.

Kawasaki KE 100 was probably the most recent US 2 stroke road bike offering, available till 2001.

I have a 1972 Yamaha CS5 awaiting resurection in my garage. 2 stroke 200 cc twin cylinder.

depends on  the  state.  calif  was  and is  super  restrictive.       other  states  are more liberal in allowing  reg  of   dual sport  2T's....

I have a friend with 2 street legal CR500's. One is stock and the other is a cr500 motor stuffed into a RMZ250 frame. There is a loop hole in South Dakota where you can send your info in from any state and get almost anything legalized.
