IRC GP-1 Tire size?

So I think I want to go with some IRC GP-1 tires for my 93' XR650L. I was just wondering what sizes I should get?

i run a 4.6 on my xrr only reason i dont run the 5.1 is its quite a bit more expensive. Either will work just fine. If you interested in saving few bucks buy the shinko 244 instead there tread pattern looks identical and the shinkos are half the price. and i have had great luck with them. On my dirt bikes and vfr800

Thanks!! Are there any negatives to running the 5.1? Sorry I'm a little new to this stuff. When you say 5.1, does that include the front as well? Or do I just keep stock size on the front? I'm taking my bike down to get these mounted after work , so any input would be great!!! Oh and will I need to take off my chain guard or anything if I run a wider rear ? By the way, my bike is a 1993 xr650L if that matters?

Should I go tubeless or just thicker tubes?

I've used both a 4.60 and 5.10 IRC GP-110 rear tire. I can't really tell the difference in performance, but the 5.10 looks better.

The 5.10 isn't wide enough to make contact with anything, at least on my XR650L.
