09kx250f getting valves Wiseco any good?

Recommended Posts

It depends what your goal is and what your budget is. Why do you ask about wiseco? Is it because you are familiar with the brand? Because of the price? OEM parts are good, but depending in your goals for the bike there can be better options

If you are racing then you definitely want to stay with titanium valves. Going to a high end set of coated Del West valves will get you a little more life than the stockers, but stock valves are good also. If you go to stainless valves you can get more life out of them but it will require different springs and there will be a loss in horsepower due to the extra spring pressure. Also to utilize stainless valves properly you need different valve seats also. I've never used Wiseco valves, but they are a reputable company. Definitely stay titanium what ever company you choose. Check out Kibble white also. I've heard a lot of good things about their valves also.
