2012 YZ250f Carb Help ASAP. Need for pro am this weekend

Recommended Posts

My yz250f seems to be cutting out when the tracks get rough. It is like it loses fuel and doesnt run right. it is so hard to describe. It is like the fuel is sloshing around and not getting fuel when its rough. It has like the little hesitant right when you give it the gas. But wide open it runs great. Just coming into corner when its rough or coming out of rough corners its really bad like its cutting out. Anyone that can help it will be greatly appreciated!! trying to get it running right for the pro am this weekend

There is supposed to be a slosh cup around the main jet (whiteish plastic).

You also should check the AP (if what you really meant was a bog when hitting the throttle).

It isnt a bog. Like when im just sitting there in neutral and rev it up. it doesnt bog or anything. But when the tracks get rough..its like it cuts out..and feels like a bog..its a very hard issue to describe.

Sitting and reving means nothing.

Whoop induced misfires is slosh and there is a cup around the main for it.

Steady thottle, does it seem like the kill switch is hit (does it fire off with a bang sometimes?) or does the bike loose power?

Check the fuel shutoff valve to make sure it is not partially plugged and restricting the supply to the carb
