Ktm 300 questions

If recluse then no, I had a 265 big bore YZ with a WR first gear and a

Fly wheel weight. The thing would lug all the way down to a walk speed.

My point is a YZ is a great option.

A really great bike, go talk or look

into the Yamaha 2t section and read

a bit before you buy. Some one here said they don't

turn, Ok they have a stability that I never had on a KTM.

Your money, might as well read up on whats the best bike for You.

I have read they dont turn too, however mine turns great so I am not sure what the fuss is about..and I have owned lots of different bikes 4t and 2t. The YZ is my favorite overall, but thats simply my opinion.

I'm 240lbs, I could lose maybe 10-15lbs but not much more. I'm not sure the 250cc would be enough to lugg my huge arse around. How much does it cost to add all those cc's to the 250? Also how dependable is the motor when you do that?

Same as stock as far as dependability and costs around $600, worth it!

A couple dozen times in college on accident dose not make someone a homo, homo.

Yes it does. Once you double dip there is no turning back...your full on homo.

The Engineer at Yamaha that lead the YZ 400 build

in a articule stated and I paraphrase.

A modern 2t is good for 0.2 HP per CC

A modern 4t is good for 0.12 HP per cc

So

YZ450 54

YZ250 50

So a big bore kits you

all the power of a 450

and a lot less wieght.

That said my 265 never ran out of power,

or any thing close to lacking power.

Good info! So is it safe to say the yz's have the same low end grunt capabilities as the ktm?
