YZ125 Back Brake Adjusting

Recommended Posts

I have a 2003 yz125 and I would like to know if you can adjust the back brake so its not so touchy, or even lower the lever? If you can how do you do it?

Adjust the clevis on the lever so there is a lot of slop in it. So you have to press further to actuate the brakes. Will take the "touchy" out of them for sure

See 3:40 for how to adjust rear brake pedal:

Just be sure to lock the nut on top of the clevis once you find your preferred position.

Less touchy: try metal sintered rear brake pads. Sintered pads (OEM Yamaha, Motomaster, Dunlopad brands) are harder, grip less, and offer longer life and slightly more rear disc wear than carbon or other organic based pads.
