Polisport Rear Fender install

Recommended Posts

I had a lot of trouble searching for this topic when I was looking into doing this so I thought starting a thread would help someone else if they ever wanted it. Anyways, I finally broke down and bought the white Polisport rear fender. I never did like the old, 90's style enduro fender much and with the price of this one I could break 2 fenders for the price of a Maier MX style fender. I also went ahead and trimmed the side panels down to emulate a 2011 CRF style, and I think they turned out looking pretty good. Don't knock me for the yellow backgrounds, I have to run them for the series I race. Trust me, I don't like it either.

The side panels look pretty bad ass. I tried to find a black Polisport rear fender, but no luck. I later found an ebay vendor in India selling a pretty legit XR400SM rear fender so I snagged it. The only thing I don't like is that you can see the subframe, but I used the holes for LED turn signals. It will look a lot better when I get it powder coated.
