Colorado Camping around Crested Butte off a Dual Sport

Should Be Camping in the title, although a cape would be a head turner!

Heading out over Tincup in the a.m over to Taylor then tentatively Italian Creek into or around Crested Butte on an 01 DR650. Interested in ideas regarding camping on the Crested Butte side. Following day will be shooting for Otto Mears toll road into Bonanza/Sargents then Pitkin to Old Monarch Pass down into Poncha Springs slab back to Buena Vista.

Any suggestions would be sweet.Thanks

Forest C.G. at Cement Creek. Usually pretty full. Further up Cement Creek (USFS land) you can pretty much find spots anywhere. C.G. at Lake Irwin (up Kebler Pass). There is also a C.G. up towards Gothic.
