kill switch wont work and bike wont start in gear with clutch pulled

This weekend I was ridding my 06 crf 230 and my kill switch stopped working and my bike wont start unless its in neutral. Before i could be in first gear and just pull the clutch and hit the electric start. I think the problems occurred at the same time and I've looked and my electrical wiring and cant find any breaks in the wires.

Wires on the clutch lever both on completely?

With both these problems together you need to make sure the plug down line from the clutch switch that has the green and green and red wire in it. The kill switch and the clutch switch both get their ground from that plug. The green wire is the ground wire and should have continuity to ground all of the time.
