Should i freshen up my top end?

Recommended Posts

About two months ago I picked up a used 2006 250. Since ive gotten it ive put about 15-20 good hard hours on it. Now the p/o said its on its 2nd piston, he gave me the oem one and it looked good. But that catch is, I have no idea how many hours are on this one. Anyways i took off the pipe and saw a little blowby on the rings and thought it wouldnt be a bad idea to freshen it up. What would you guys do? (Compression is decent, not as good as my brothers 05)

What's the compression, every used bike I buy the first thing I do is topened , oil change and airfilter. Even if the buyer said it recently had a topened done.
