04 CR125 cracked exhaust port

Funny how you own a bike for so long and not know a common problem with it. Just stripped down my bike today an noticed a crack at the top of the port. The power valves are carboned up real bad and it has been fouling plugs last ride. Some people have said to leave it?

Id have it welded for peace of mind.

You def want to do something about that.

its a catastrophic event waiting to happen (in my opinion). at the very least Its a focal point (edge) for serious heat to build up. Get it sleeved, or for 200 bucks or less on ebay and your are good to go. Just verfy what you are buying on EBay ie Sleeved vs Nicasil. Sleeved should be cheaper.

Sleeved is a touch cheaper on my 04 cr250 but I got it redone by FAST (Canadian distributor for Millenium)

The cylinder got back the other day and man it looks brand new.. Better than brand new! They also machine away some of the exhaust bridge and set the cylinder to match the piston you supply or buy from them.
