but if this and that... he won don't discredit it.  if james wouldn't have hurt his knee... if he wouldn't have crashed...  fact of the matter he did and its hurt him as did the ryans in that round.  a win is a win!  

 

james didn't quit his neck is hurt... whats the point of being out there and risking getting hurt again?  why do you think that racers owe people anything? its their lives and bodies they are putting on the line.  if they think they shouldn't be out there because the risk is too much then who are you to say they should?  reed has no injury and is pulling out why?  because he feels the bike isn't right and the risk isn't worth the reward.  at least james has a reason and its not just see ya in sx.  if james said that or did that he would be crucified.  hell look at whats happening now.  he has a tweaked neck and clearly hurt and he is being crucified for sitting out the last round. HATERS!

I am with you on this one.  It is moronic if you seriously have a disc issue going on, to push the issue.  I had a slight bulging disc that became fully bulged, it ain't fun when you can't get out of bed when if you would have just took it easier it wouldn't have bulged.  My stuff is for sale over it, not worth needing back surgery from casing a jump too hard or landing hard & having it herniate.  Need to find a new fall / winter hobby now though since wake board season is wrapping up, which crappily has ended earlier for me over the back

I agree, James would be crucified if pulling out not for injury, but because "he feels the bike isn't right and the risk isn't worth the reward."  Let me search the moto archives and ...Yes, I thought so! JS did exactly the same thing in 2010 post Unadilla when he was a no-show with no injury after saying that he would race the final 4 races of the year.  Most crucified him for that, but you defended the decision at all costs...now that Reed makes the same call (and some claim that he does have some physical issues, but that is not the issue) it's somehow different. Reed has bike, physical, mental, and contractual issues not to mention legal issues in AU. Do you really want to see him out there riding around mid-pack?? I for one - DO NOT! Go home CR, get right, see you at A1...    Probably won't be on a red bike though.

Anyone else remember the conspiracy theory on Vital back in 2012, that the GoPro on James' helmet was getting him off axis/balance and causing him to crash because of his "ridiculous speed" and the most minor thing like that was all it took for someone so "fast"?  I learned a lot of things about Stewart fans that day. ?
