kx450f06 My Rides (2) Posted January 14 How I got it and how it was this summer. Have added a new seat cover and exhaust but it's to damn cold to get it out now for a picture. 1999 yz400f
bergilong My Rides (5) Posted Saturday at 06:53 PM (edited) Here's my bike. It's a 2010 KTM 200 XC-W. I'd say it's quite an improvement from when I got it. Edited Saturday at 06:56 PM by bergilong
Gixxerkid3 Posted Wednesday at 05:53 PM (edited) Did it again. I bought another 1993 WR250. You may have seen my last 1993 WR250 restore, but I sold it prior to riding it and have regretted it ever since. Bought this one from a guy who had had toasted the connected rod bearing, had it rebuilt, then damaged the idler gear. Looking into the “rebuilt” motor from a “guy who used to rebuild motor” the motor was shot after 3 rides from the Previous owner. The guy assembled the crank @ .073 out of tolerance causing lateral load on the piston and main bearings. Could not turn crank by hand. The new piston had worn .005” in 3 rides at which time the previous owner had damaged (shattered) the idler gear. In short, my motor guy, legendary Pete Janette rebuilt and corrected all the items in the motor for me. I sent the cylinder to Millennium for a new plating and new WiseCo Piston. Here are before/after restore. Everything was serviced. Here are a few pics. Lol Edited Wednesday at 06:20 PM by Gixxerkid3
