2013 450r won't start

Hey guys. I volunteered to help a friend out with his 2013 crf450r. He tried to start it the other day and it won't run. It ran Great until the other day he was riding around and it completely bogged down so bad it could be recovered from. It doesn't feel quite rite when your kicking it either. I checked plug, carb, pump. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No carb on that bike, it uses a throttle body EFI system. How did you check the TB? How did you check the pump?

I would start with a good tank-off washing of the motor, then remove the valve cover and check valve clearances and cam timing while you're in there.

I didn't check the carb or pump my friend did. I don't know anything about the 450r's.
