Have to start bike like 2t

My yz250f will not start unless I crack on the throttle while kicking with choke on or off I can't seem to find the problem in the carb. Choke also usually acts as a kill switch when I open it up.

It requires some air to start. Sounds like the slide is closed all of the way. Adjusting the idle a little higher (will keep the slide up a tad) and eliminate your issues.

If the choke is killing it, you are jetted wrong.
