2013 KTM 350 SX-F into wood/HS/Enduro weapon?

I´m in the process of making an incomming KTM 350 SX-F 2013 into an enduro machine. I would like if some of you could help to maybe guide me in the right direction of this matter. I´m ofcourse thinking for some cooling options, water and oil. Gearing, linkage protection, conversion to 18", gas tank, quickfueling option, etc...

We ride both enduros and HS with 350 SXF's and XCF's...... A class.... Having said that, the basic mods I would tell someone to do would be the following... Listed them in the order I would suggest doing/getting them..

 

 

1) Suspension Resprung/revalved

2) Rekluse EXP Core

3) Skid Plate

4) 13/52 iron man sprockets with a Narrow D.I.D. X-ring chain

5) Engine Ice Coolant

Hold off on the dt fan, they are in the process of coming up with a switch that's actually water proof because the old one is far from it, mine didn't last after one wash. Otherwise I love my 350sx in the woods.

Recluse core exp

Ricochet skid plate

Stock 09 250xc wheels

Dt tensioner

the first thing you need is to revalve the suspension then get a ims oversized take then a set of cycra pro bend then just ride the shit out of it and have fun

I recently got the IMS 3.1 Gal tank on my 350 and I would recommend it. Fits perfectly and doesn't make your shrouds any wider. Number 1 on your list should be a Rekluse Core EXP.... the thing is a dream. Just installed mine 2 rides ago and I'm in love with it.

 

Are you sure about 13/52 gearing? I'm running 14/52 and I'm starting not to like it.... May go back to 51 or even 50 because the rekluse helps with the lack of bottom end

1 - Anyone riding the EXP core 2.0 with the haynes (new to me) LHRB. How good is it at lockup. I loved the old rekluse LHRB on my 530. It was complete lockup when needed and helped a lot in the tight stuff.

3 - Can i mount the 2011-2013 KTM kickstart system to an 2013

ps: Going to Sweden this weekend and picking up an 2013 with 23 hours. YAY

14 model XC has the same tranny gears as the SX so I wouldn't worry too much about gearing.

 

No kickstart, the case has no provision for it.

 

to run the old wheel just swap out the spacers.

 

Can't say about the rotor but the bigger it is the more chance of bending it.
