Starter button and horn button broken!

Recommended Posts

I took apart the starter button and it is clean in there.  Then I discovered my horn also doesn't work!  They were both starting to wane on me over the past few weeks, they would work about 25% of the time, now neither will work at all.

The speedo displays well, the battery hookups are secure and the battery fuse is intact.

What am I looking for?

Get out the volt/ohm meter and start testing.  It is the only way I know.

Right rear under the side panel.  Just follow the battery cable to the relay.

I had trouble with the small printed circut board behind the start button breaking. Cause intermittent starting contact. Fixed it with JB weld. Might be the same for the horn button????
