hey just wondering what kind of oil i can put in my case for an oil change, and can i get it from somewhere like ace hardware,walmart, or something like that, thanks!!

The common answer is Shell Rotella 15w40 or ATF, both can be sourced from Wally World. I use Rotella, like $13 a gallon, change every other ride (6-8 hours).

6-8 hours is good. i like to use specif MC oil in mine fully synth. 10W-50. i change 15-20hours of trail riding.

I don't use anything unless it has a motorcycle pictured on it.  I love the feel I get with ATF....

Shell Rotella is a JASO DH-2/MA rated oil, so it's as MC specific as the stuff the dealers sell for $5.99 a quart with a picture of a bike on it. Obviously either is a fine choice, as is the ATF so many use.

I like to support my local shop (if they have good cust service) so Ill use honda 80-85wt, or maxima 80. both have been good for my 03 since new..

i don't always use ATF, but when i do.. i take the cheapest type F at the parts store.

ATF Type F. 60% of the time, it works every time.
