Tyla & Husky

Motocross

I'm glad to see that KTM is wasting no time in getting Husky going. I say in 3 years there will still be a big 5........in Honda, Yamaha, KTM, Kawasaki and Husqvarna racing here in the states. I don't see Suzuki sticking around but luckily they may very well be a mfg to replace them.

Wasting no time? Pretty easy when all they are really doing in slapping Husky graphics on the KTM.

marketing 101

KTM said they weren't' going to do to Husky what they did with the Husaberg line. I don't think we will see three different colored KTMs on the track but they will all use WP suspension

No there won't be 3 different colored KTMs, they've already announced that Berg is done. There's quite a bit of info over in the Berg and Husky sections, some truth and some speculative.

Well how long could it take to swap a Kymco motor for a Bajaj motor? Its about marketing alright and markup too.

You're just too bitter man. One day you will get that Japanese hypnosis shit out of your head and go Austrian and feel the pride in riding a bike that has actually had changes made to it before a decade occurs.

Someone is trying to sell you on a BBA (big bag of ass)

Yeah, like those awesome gas caps. :p

If the bikes were made in America I could see having loyalty to the brand. The damn things are made in another country you knuckleheads  :bonk:

Japanese pride is for fools or people that actually live in Japan

Hater! :p

Makes about as much sense as Honda's dual exhaust and that new Yamaha gas cap cover!

I got no brand loyalty. There is Orange, Red, Yellow, and Blue in my garage would own Chinese if they would export something decent. Besides Japanese, Koreans, Indians, and Chinese make good stuff(iPhone is doing pretty good I'd say). The Euro-socialists had their chance, remember I actually owned Bul(shito)taco and have owned KTM on and off from when when they had radial finned heads. Used to work for a Euro company too (different industry) socialism was great for the benes but getting work done with the bureaucracy was like getting out of the Gulag.

I just don't like paying a Euro markup for Chinese or Indian stuff --nothing against the products though as a good design is a good design after all.

Hey and in reality some of those Huskys DID have Kymco motors and Bajaj does own like 50% of KTM so even tho BBM is right I am bitter but not that much more so than being a cheap bastard...  :p

Haha actually changed? Dude the ktm just barely changed to current bikes.

As soon as they sticker up a KTM with a H

And make it red there will not be a bad bike on the market

Pretty sure what you meant to say is Husky graphics on a Husaberg for off road but "re-wrapping" a KTM with Husky graphics in 2014 for MX? Wow..... Didn't see this coming!

Maybe if your talking MX only. In the off road world though, Japan hasn't impoved on jack squat shit since I cant remember when.

What off-road world do you mean? Seems to be a lot of Japanese improvements and options in the ATV market. Like I said earlier that fact that the Japanese seem to moving away from the off-road bike market should be a concern for us (will Zuk even last a few more years?). You just aren't going to grow if KTM, Husky, Beta, and etc. are the "leaders" in whats left of the market good as those products may be IMHO. Its all about the volume and growth. :ride:

umm.. yeah even in offroad world.. they grow a bit slower but jap bikes have changed a lot.
