Cylinder / piston fit YZ250 2004

Hello everybody,

I bought a new geniune cylinder marked with the letter B, but the piston is marked with the Letter C. Someone knows the difference between both? Difference in measures?

I have fear to dammage the new cylinder with the C piston. It is possible that they fit in a good way?

I hope somebody can help me.

Put the piston into the cylinder and measure. I bought a "B" stamped cylinder and ended up with "D" sized piston to get piston clearance.

So you mean that the letter doesn't matter?

sometimes yeap, not always though. IMO machinery gets older and nowadays we ready have to suffer the effects of lacking management controls.
