I think the owner is here on the site. I remember seeing those pictures on here in a thread somewhere?

I've seen that a couple times, thought about taking my little brother there but would need to see more pictures, plus I don't know if my bike is allowed (kx 250). If anyone goes let us all know if it's any good

I found the address and I took a picture of the satellite image. Here it is:

I was there one time with my son a couple years back. Its ok for little bikes, gets boring real quick for big bikes. The guy will make you put in a plug in your bike if its too loud.

Ehh if it's only 15 minutes from you I'd say go for it, I haven't been there, but I feel like if it's 15 minutes away it's worth checking out. Might make a nice after work stop

Yea....something different.

I just texted him and he responded back right away.

Found his add on CL and sent a note there too.

Sure, Byron and FoxValley and all are great...but....a nice backyard track is good too.  With a kid or two.  Something different.  It isn't 40 minutes from me.

HOWDY

I am the owner of the track you guys are talking about.

I had a track in mchenrey county, off of oak grove rd , for about 20 years .

After dealing with the county that long I had enough

I started racing in 1977 and watched the tracks go away(disappear)

This has been in my blood a long time and always will

My track is nothing like SUNSET RIDGE but it is a nice family track

I try to make it safe as possible for everyone , by separating people by there ability.

It is so hard to find places to ride in our area, that dont get shut down.

thank you

jeff

Hey Jefferson.

Thanks for posting here.

I did get the video you sent, thank you.  Your set up looks great for the little guys and little bikes.  You don't get much of third gear on a full size bike do you?

I'm guessing my boy and I and a couple freinds will stop by next summer....for something different.

Great to hear.

How old is young John and what does he ride?

Did John's Dad ride an MX bike there too?

I was wondering how it goes for full size bikes.  Looks like it is sort of made for smaller bikes and kids.
