Handlebar Mount for iPhone 4

Has anyone had any success with a handlebar mount for their iPhone? I have been doing a lot of research today but it doesn't look like any of the mounts I found will hold up in rough terrain.

I use a Ram mount with an aqua box also made by Ram mounts. Works great!

I've got a life proof case on my 5 and was going to get their bike mount. I have heard good things on it but have yet to try it personally. Worth looking into though.

I agree with Pete.... The RAM mounts are awesome! I have several for different devices and they mount very securely.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback guys. After more research today I have it narrowed down between lifeproof w/ motorcycle mount, biologic w/ heavy duty mount, and a RAM set up. Leaning towards getting a shock and waterproof case that I can mount in the RAM system. I just really hate the bulky arms RAM uses so I need to take some measurements and see how things will fit.

I use this and my 4s in an otter box defender case doesn't move regardless of terrain.  The big advantage for me was being able to easily move the phone holder from the 250 to my mountain bike or the quad.  All I did was attach a ball mount to each toy and I was covered for all 3.  My phone case isn't waterproof so if there is a chance of it getting wet I just put the phone in a ziploc bag and slap it in the holder.  The touch screen works fine through the baggie too!

Or, what are you using to actually mount to the bar on the bike ( I assume it is the stock bar you are mounted to, and it's the smaller top portion of the bar that is like 1/2" steel??)

i just ordered the one with the zippered case from Amazon for 15 bucks  my phone is waterproof and rugged  but I am sure all the mounts I found  could chuck my phone to the road

I just put a Ram mount on my bike like the one pictured above and love it so far.  I have a pretty large Droid Razr Maxx and it holds it just fine.

I have the 1 inch handlebar mount attached to the handlebar in between the clamps.

I just tried this and didn't like it  the clear plastic is to shiny and makes the device hard to see

are you asking about the ram x-mount? it holds my droid razor maxx with room to spare... i will try the wife's garmin tonight when i get home form work. it won't be till midnight or so though...  on their website it says how big it will open to.
